So let's start with something fun! We went to the Highland games last week and Brynn spent a lot of time in the bouncy castle again this year, so I figured a photo comparison was in order.
Apparently being in a bouncy castle means you must make silly faces while sitting. :)There was also a bouncy wind tunnel structure that I think Brynn and I easily did 30 laps of before it was balloon animal time. Being a parent definitely provides you with more opportunities to be silly.
Silly is always good, particularly when it is balancing out work / life stress. Things at work have been very hectic and stressful, both for Mike and myself. We're also both volunteers on boards and trying to have time for family, sports and everything else. So there's lots going on and it's a bit exhausting. Of course, it could also be that Brynn's been sick again. This time it was a combination pink-eye, ear infection, cough. So it goes. She is getting better, and is off the eye drops, but she is back on inhalers for her cough. Poor munchkin. She's a trooper though.

We've also had a few fun visits from other people this month including Chris, Christine and Emily, who is almost one, my friend Tracy, and Oma. Here are some pictures from our visit with Tracy.
Tracy has a new appreciation for how much exercise it takes to keep up with a 2 year old. Particularly since she is a personal trainer. :)
