Unfortunately December saw all of us get sick, but fortunately we all got better as well!
This also means that we didn't get very many photos taken, but we definitely had some fun this December. Near the beginning of the month I went to Kamloops to visit my friend Jen for the weekend and get my first real non-work time away since Brynn was born. Jen is now about half way to officially starting her own family, so we didn't go out an party, but we did go enjoy some pub fare and watch a movie. We also hung out in our pjs for long periods of time and played Guitar Hero and all sorts of games. We sort of had to stay inside because I had a lung infection and Kamloops was damn cold, but it was great. Jen and her hubby Jeff treated for the whole weekend, which was really nice (Thanks again!). They insisted since they were still Double Income No-Kids for a bit longer.
:)
While I was doing that, the annual truck parade took place back in Victoria. It passes right in front of our place and I was sad to miss it.

For Christmas we headed up to Duncan to my mom's place. Brynn was still running a pretty high fever and Christmas eve my mom helped out for hours with Brynn when she woke up at 2 am asking for Oma and was still cheery for Christmas. Thanks mom! :)
I managed to snap a couple of pictures of Brynn on Christmas morning. I have a couple with Scott and Mike both wearing bows on their heads too, unfortunately my little flash didn't extend to where they were very well.

We stayed at mom's for about 4 days and had a great Christmas dinner at my Uncle John and Aunt Tanya's. It was nice to see everyone together, it has been a really long time since all 5 of the families have been together. Not all of the grand kids or great grand kids were there, but there were still about 40 of us across the 4 generations. We also had a chance to visit with Anna Marie and Diana. Anna came back from Malawi for Christmas and New Years and after 42 hours of travel is already heading back. She has extended her stay there, so it will be a while before we get to see her again, but it was definitely a fun time. safe travels lady!
Near the end of our stay at mom's Brynn was feeling well enough to go for a little spin on one of her Christmas presents.
She definitely had fun this Christmas, as did the rest of us. :)
