Little changes and new experiences

Brynn and I have been making some little changes and trying new things.

Brynn wrapped up her involvement in gymnastics for a while finishing off her next medal step before moving on to Jazz class. She really wanted to try ballet, but isn't the most patient kid, and Jazz seems to be much more suited to her personality, and she's loving it.
Gymnastics was fun for a while, but after all, she's only 4 and the 3-5 class just repeats the same type of activities, so after just under a year, she was bored, so time to move on. Luckily we managed to join a Jazz class before it shut down for the summer, so she's getting a couple of months of fun in before the summer.

One of the downsides of having to be in pre-school and have mom and dad working is all the courses shut down for the summer or are half day, week long classes. I was hoping her pre-school would let me bring her in for half days for one week, so she could try one of them this summer, but nope. Sigh.

Keeping her interested in pre-school is a bit of a challenge right now too since she will have to be there for another year plus and watch all her firends go off to Kindergarten. She was supposed to start a new preschool in September, but that ended up not working out. So it goes I guess.

On another note, Brynn got to experience her first play. We went to the Cowichan Theatre with Oma to watch a Richard Scarry show.

Oma bought Brynn and her friend a sparkly wand and then Brynn and I brought Brynn's friend and family over to the farm. We've been spending a lot of time there lately and I'm just waiting for my Aunts and Uncles to start charging admission for all the people we're trotting through.  ;)  Actually they have said it was good to help ground people who may not have any real connection to where their food comes from. It's always a lot of fun to show people around and show them a bit about what a dairy farm is like.

And a little Brynn film to end things.  :)
